Yes, well...

I don't know for sure, haven't researched, but there must have been some reason they changed, perhaps following the rule of the QMD specs to the letter...

It also shows that like the K rations, the coloured packages had to be used up before they could change?

I was wrong about the tins for the K Ration, just found some which are closer than I have seen previously..A tinned salmon...After several attempts at copying frmo two originals I have in my opsession, plus research...Here is my first draft of the K Ration:

I did fill one with ham and eggs for my first rip up La Defensa, ate it cold after a nite in the rain, was soaked to the skin...Now, for a hobby!
